Smoother & more vibrant skin
ProFractional-XC™ therapy is a quick and comfortable laser procedure with little downtime used for improving the overall appearance of your skin. The procedure can be customized to your specific skin conditions and desired outcome. Most areas of the body can be treated. Popular treatment areas are the face and neck, though many people also treat the chest and hands.
How does it work?
ProFractional therapy is “fractionated” laser resurfacing, meaning that only a portion of the skin is treated in a session. The treatment uses a laser beam that ablates thousands of pinpoint channels in your skin. Because only a fraction of your skin is directly treated with the laser, the surrounding untreated tissue promotes rapid healing. The skin’s wound healing response creates new collagen, which adds firmness and resilience to the skin.

Frequently Asked Questions
One hour prior to your procedure, a topical numbing compound will be applied to the treatment area. Once numb, the provider will position the laser handpiece above the skin and hold it in place as the computer-guided scanner moves the laser beam around the treatment area. Procedure duration will vary depending on the area being treated.
Patient response will vary depending on the depth of the treatment. Redness will last between five and 14 days, or longer for deeper peels. Swelling is typical. The provider will advise you on specific post-treatment care. Exposure to the sun should be avoided until healing is complete.
It is recommended that you always use a broad spectrum sunblock to avoid further damage to your skin. Makeup and normal daily activities may resume as soon as healing is complete. You will notice immediate results, and your skin will continue to improve over the next four to six months with increasing tightness and resilience.
